Infocon is a Polish technology company with a long history.
Launched in 1998 on the basis of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
The initial work consisted in developing its own CRM system which was used by commercial corporations to control the work of pharmaceutical representatives.
Then came the specialization in systems for the pharmaceutical industry.
In later years, the company expanded its service portfolio with sales services for the pharmaceutical industry, establishing the largest callcenter in Poland specializing in calling all pharmacies in Poland and selling drugs over the phone.
In short, the achievements of Infocon (and its subsidiaries) are:
- Infocon recognized by Deloitte and Touche as the 8th fastest growing technology company in Poland and 44 fastest growing technology company in Central and Eastern Europe.
- Infocon establishes one of the first ecommerce sites in Poland which is for 3 years in the group of the top 10 sites in Poland
- Infocon receives a grant for its technological solution and the system is recognized as one of the 5 best technological solutions in the region.
- Infocon establishes Callcenter Pharmaceutical (dedicated company Pharma Distribution Group) which very quickly becomes the largest pharmaceutical callcenter in the country, achieving annual sales in excess of PLN 1.2 billion
- This callcenter recognized by KPMG (award for best strategy)
- Infocon sells a stake in Pharma Distribution Group (transaction value high enough to finance innovative work on a large international ecommerce marketplace)
The story is described in detail below:
- 2001: Infocon started in deloitte & touche fast-50 ranking (a measure of fast-moving IT companies in the Central and Eastern Europe region), ranked No. 8 in Poland and No. 44 in Central and Eastern Europe (out of 10,000 startup companies in the ranking).
- 2002: implementation of one of the largest mobile projects in Poland (Sybase's AvantGo technology) for use by several hundred pharmaceutical sales representatives in this field.
- 2003: Infocon sp. z o.o. (pty ltd) is created flagship CRM system called "Pcgmarket.com" is placed on the market
- 2004: a new independent department was created, dedicated to e-business testing and its potential as an entity.
The project quickly became one of the best online stores in Poland with consumer electronics (a group of the top 10 stores for 3 years in a row) with sales growing at a rate of 30% per month for the first year
- 2005: CRM pcgmarket.com the best IT project in lower Silesia, then subsidised by European Funds
- 2006: funds are partly used to experiment with VOIP technology on the star platform. Then a new department is created to give the pharmaceutical community much more than before, a CRM system to optimize the work of sales representatives. It's time to give them a real sale!
- 2007: dedicated pharma distribution group sp. z o.o. (pty ltd) formed (I am a co-founder), initially with a team of 25 operators focusing on outgoing sales campaigns to pharmacies. The company later grows to 100 sales representatives.
- 2008-2010: Pharma Distribution Group is experiencing spectacular growth, is the largest independent Pharmaceutical CallCenter in Poland. Generates approximately $US 30 million annual sales to our business customers
- 2011: currently the old CRM system Pcgmarket.com (pcg1), which feeds many customers, Pharma Distribution Group also, must be replaced. A new CRM system is under way.
- 2011: At the end of the year, Pharma Distribution Group receives an award at the IRR CallCenter Awards (audited by KPMG) from No.1 in the strategy category.
- 2012: Saudi Branch Call Center is launched (we test calling Saudi pharmacies)
- 2012: to test the effectiveness of the new CRM system and its use in different sectors, a 12-month project (sale of energy contracts to companies in the freed energy market) begins. Within a few months of its launch, almost 100 people were working on the project.
- 2013: The new CRM system receives funding from European funds under the JEREMIE (Joint European Resources for Micro-to-Medium Enterprises) project.
- 2015: Pharma Distribution Group closes the year with sales above PLN 1bln
- 2016: An investor enters pharma distribution group, part of the shares sold to finance the work on the new ecommerce platform.
- 2017: work is underway on the market with multi-level sales. A big project for an international company from Australia.
- 2018-2019: important work carried out for Oziway Polska, our company is the main development partner of Oziway.
- 2020: Due to Covid, we are asked to secure (through contacts in China) import agreements from China. Contract for medical devices, electronics, and protective equipment sold from China to Australia and Europe.
- 2021: Trade in Europe. Many products available from China, quality control and financial insurance for all available transactions. Use the Oziway market to advertise products and services.
